Dr. Chris Freeman has created thousands of healthy, confident smiles across the Fort Lauderdale community, and he has personally guided every one of them.
Dr. Freeman graduated valedictorian from the University of Kentucky's dental program, where he focused on restorative dentistry and TMJ care. That dual grounding in both dentistry and orthodontics is a rare combination, and it lets him design smiles that are as functional as they are beautiful, often helping patients achieve stunning results without invasive surgery.
His work earned him a place at the University of Michigan, where he completed an intensive three-year residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. He is a Board-Certified Orthodontist, a published author, and a sought-after speaker on orthodontic technology, multidisciplinary treatment, teledentistry, and children's orthodontics.
He is also an active member, and past president, of several leading organizations, including the Broward Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontics, and the Fort Lauderdale Spear Study Club.
After growing to four locations, Dr. Freeman came to a simple conclusion: bigger is not always better. Today, Freeman Orthodontics is a single, non-corporate private practice in Fort Lauderdale, where the person who greets you is the same person who treats you, and no two treatment plans are ever cookie-cutter.
